I was just repeating it because others didn't have the pleasure (they are lucky, actually) of hearing my rant on the book The Princess Bride.

They're not so lucky now. Just kidding! Don't hurt me.

(holds up hand) Alright fine. (puts hand down) No, but I won't torture anyone (besides twistedbrain) about the book The Princess Bride.

Okay. I can deal with it if I can save others from the same fate. *is kidding* *or is she?*

No, I tortured you enough already. My torturing people with book rants is over.

The remake of the movie 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' was a waste of time.

Johnny Depp was too weird in that movie, but I liked the imagination. The original Willy Wonka was great, but the story lacked something. (Maybe it was the weird Oompa Loompas in the first one. Though the remake had weird Oompa Loompas as well). I like how they added the scene with the Indian Prince and how they made it more like the original book by Roald Dahl.

The Oompa Loompas in the first movie looked better than the ones in the second.
The ones in the second movie looked like red astronauts.

That's true. Plus they are all the same person. That is kind of weird. I don't necessarily think the second movie was a waste of time though. Some of it was kind of funny.

I like how he says the following lines though:
Willy Wonka: You're all quite short, aren't you? Violet Beauregarde: Well yeah, we're children. Willy Wonka: Well that's no excuse. I was never as short as you Mike Teavee: You were once. Willy Wonka: Was not. Know why? Because I distinctly remember putting a hat on top of my head. Look at your short little arms. You could never reach.
Willy Wonka: See children? Everything in this room is edible. Even I'm edible! But that my children. is called cannibalism; and that is frowned upon in most societies
Willy Wonka: My name is Willy Wonka. Veruca Salt: Then shouldn't you be up there? [points to stage] Willy Wonka: Well, I couldn't very well watch the show from up there, now, could I, little girl?

He's not as good as Gene Wildman though.

So true. I still think the Charlie in the remake was better though.
