I won this 3 buck dvd of Charlie Chaplin films, and they were okay, but I'm not a big fan of silent films.

Have you ever seen The Kid? That one was really funny. The silent era films are so bizarre sometimes though. (For instance, in The Kid, Charlie Chaplin has a dream sequence where he imagines he gets wings. Then he flies all around the town. It actually is pretty funny. I thought it was kind of random though)

The only Charlie Chaplin film I've been lucky enough to see is City Lights, but I liked it very much. I'm currently on the look out for some of his other films with no luck so far.

We just watched the film "A Woman" in history class with him in it. It is one of the only times he dresses up as a woman. Very funny.

I never seen any Charlie Chaplin films, although I must say, he was very good at mime.

His movies are cool. The only complaint I have about him is that he dated/married younger women. WAY younger women.

I remember learning about Salinger (author of Catcher in the Rye) and how he loved this lady but she went and married old Charlie Chaplin instead.

Meh. Wasn't there any decent actresses around his age group that he could fall in lonve with? Anyone that he acted alongside?

Hmmm.... I don't REALLY know about his love life other than how he married younger women when he was so old. So, I'm not sure.
