Let's face it. Steve is the most accomplished director of his time. Pshh, sure George L. and James C. and countless others come close (not ) but really this guy is amazing. Jaws Jurassic Park Close Encounters of the Third Kind The Schindler's List Saving Private Ryan just to name a few... Feel free to post anything about this awesome guy and or any reviews or comments about his movies. Enjoy!

Ah, Close encounters... (thinks of the melody they use to contact the aliens)

My favorite would have to be Jurassic Park, i could watch them over and over.
But have you noticed that most of his movies (like 99%) are books?

Yeah, I guess he's into literature. Any more to like him, because I am a book idoler, too!

He can get a little overboard on the sad stuff though. (For instance, I thought that the Artificial Intelligence ending was horrible. Way too over-sentimental.)

Yeah, that's true. The ending to Poltergeist was really cheesy.

Oh, yeah. Poltergeist was freaky. I was scared of a clown coming from under the bed for a while. Plus the little kids singing at the end was creepy. The ending wasn't totally cheesy. Kind of funny.

Yeah, them stoping at the motel and pushing [shoving] the TV out the door was pretty funny, but I wish it gave some irony like it goes back to the collapsed house and it starts to rumble like something's happening, like the poltergeist coming back...

Well, they moved out, so unless the poltergeist came to the motel... yeah it would be funny.

Loved ET. It's the best film he has ever directed.

I guess she thought the ending was stupid or sappy. I don't know. But she was told to bring some Kleenex with her to the movie theater because it was a heartbreaker, but she didn't like it. (shrug) I'll have to ask her.

It's not that sad! Meh. Your mum must be going through emotional stress. It's no wonder with you around. Lunatic.
