Has anyone seen it? I know it is still in movie theaters, but I saw it today and thought it was fantastic! I'm still not quite sure if they are making sure of the corruption of government, religion, media, or all of it. I thought it was kind of funny as well.

Hmm... how do I describe it? Well, it is set in the future in England and there is a totalitarian government and... here this is a better summary: Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V's mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself - and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption. Got it from: www.imdb.com/title/tt0434409/plotsummary

I saw V last weekend. I really liked this movie. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about it, but I have to say that it was a much better film than I expected it to be.

You're kidding! I really liked it. It depends on your type of movie though. It makes you think, above all things. It wouldn't be a good movie for those who get bored very easily unless there is 100% action.

Well my sisters like most of the movies that they see. They thought that this one was too unreal. They said that it would never happened. I quote "It was bull.... I would've walked out of the theater if I hadn't payed for the tickets with my own money." - my sister. It does seem a lot more fantasy that reality though.

It is supposed to be set in the future, but I liked it. I like fantasy more than reality anyway.

Made you think what was going to happen next?
And what's with all this 'Remember, remember, the 5th of November,' balderdash?

Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder treason and plot. I can think of no reason, The gunpowder treason Should Ever be Forgot.
It is a poem that starts the movie V for Vendetta. It talks about Guy Fawkes.
